For the last four years, Broadcast journalism major and soon to be graduate, Ben Dackiw, has been the voice and face of OU hockey broadcasts. A former hockey player himself, Ben transitioned into the booth shortly after his arrival to OU to fill a need opened by a fellow graduating broadcast student.
Throughout his tenure with OU Hockey, Ben has served as color commentator as well as lead broadcaster for the sooners. This season he introduced “Hockey Time in Oklahoma,” a weekly coaches show and game preview show.
OU Hockey is proud to recognize Ben for his commitment to our program and look forward to seeing him on the air as he begins his post graduate career in broadcast journalism.
