OU readies for ISU's rowdy arena |

by Kyle Burnett / The Daily The No. 6 Sooner Hockey Club plays the No. 12 Iowa State Cyclones on Friday and Saturday in Ames, Iowa. The Cyclones are 10-4 this season, recently beating Michigan-Dearborn in two consecutive games. In those games, the Cyclones put up 14 goals to Michigan-Dearborn’s eight .The Sooners are 11-2 on the year, coming off their second loss of the season. They split two games with No. 8 Liberty University on Friday and Saturday.
The Cyclones goalie, Christian Johansson, is allowing 3.38 goals per game, but the crowd will be the deciding factor. “The Cyclone’s home-ice is a tough place to play,” said senior forward Matt Pangrac. “They have a rowdy crowd and even the cheerleaders are there.
